Major Robert T. Hosmon was my dad. Following a career as a manager with the Tennessee Valley Authority, he retired to Venice, Florida. He died July 9,2009 at the age of 96.

Hi Dr. Hosmon:
God Bless your Dad for his service and sorry to hear of his passing. All the men of the 740th are heroes for just surviving at St. Vith. My Dad was William Daniel MacDonald, FO for Btry B, with the 740th from inception to end of war. He passed in 1998 and would have been 100 years old on 4 July 2009.
